From the sacred island of Rhodes where sky meets sea in a blaze of light comes this rare silver drachm, struck between 305 and 275 BCE during the city's golden age. Rhodes, famed for its maritime power and towering Colossus, dedicated its coinage to Helios, god of the sun.

The obverse reveals the radiant head of Helios in high relief, his hair billowing like solar flares, his gaze cast toward eternity. His visage half mortal, half divine captures the awe of a people who worshipped the rising dawn and its promise of clarity, triumph, and renewal.

The reverse is anchored by the emblem of Rhodes: a blooming rose flanked by delicate buds, signifying beauty, growth, and civic pride. To the left stands Nike, the goddess of victory, bestowing divine favor upon the polis. Above and below run the ancient inscriptions city and moneyer etched by hand, now worn by time.

Set into a fully custom made 18K gold open ring, this piece is crowned with 22 natural sapphires (1mm each), evoking starlight around the sun. The shank is masterfully sculpted with adjustable curves to suit the hand it honors.

A talisman of solar power, civic greatness, and eternal return.
